The specially designed mouthpiece of the HO weymouth bit promotes harmony between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth, allowing your horse to approach the bit in a relaxed manner. The slightly curved and forward-sloping port, as well as the slanted transitions to the side part, relieve the middle of the tongue and reduce the pressure on the edges of the tongue. When the reins are tightened, the pressure is distributed evenly over the entire tongue, which enables a smooth and gentle action.
The long lower shanks ensures that the effect starts a little later.
As the horse's mouth tends to be narrower at the point where the weymouth bit is buckled in, it is recommended choosing a weymouth that is 1/2 to 1 cm smaller than the snaffle bit.
